In this project, I am compiling various definitions of the word "woman" in printed dictionaries from different times and in different languages, to analyze and compare these definitions throughout time. All the definitions have something in common: they are all binary, heterocentric, and misogynistic. Dictionaries legitimate certain words and concepts, strengthening a conservative language, and affecting the way we think and conceive the world. (...)
